I know you've heard this before, but I don't know how I've ever lived without my Dish Network "Hopper."
Now, Dish is taking it a step further with their Super Joey.
This means fewer decisions for Dish users.
The Super Joey add-on, which was announced at CES, is now available. It adds two network tuners to the Hopper's three tuners, so there are no channel conflicts or arguments.
"We know TV viewers have searched for years for a solution to alleviate conflict over what to watch, and with Super Joey, customers no longer have to choose one program over another," Vivek Khemka, Dish senior vice president of product management, said in a statement.
When subscribers combine the Hopper and Super Joey it means they can record up to eight shows at once.
While that may seem like a little overkill, there has come a time where I might want to record two or three shows while watching another, so the Super Joey could deal with that.
"Combined with Hopper's 2,000 hours of storage, Super Joey makes it even easier for customers to enjoy more of the shows they love without having to negotiate what's recorded with others viewers in the house," Khem said.
The Super Joey is powered by a 1305 MHz, 3000 DMIPS Broadcom BCM7346 processor and it features remote finder functionality. Super Joey supports MoCA and Ethernet connectivity.
