Jan. 18- The start for Arizona boxing season has started with a sell out crowd at the Raging Babe Events, "Mayhem in Mesa-War" at the Arizona Events Center in Mesa, Arizona.
Super featherweight, Brandon Riddell made short work of his eveing in his bout with Eric McNorris. It was the pro debut for Riddell who has the style of Roy Jones Jr. Riddell displayed amazing talent and looked like a veteran, landing shots at will.
Riddell worked a series of combinations, keeping McNorris up agains the ropes and on the defensive. McNorris could do little and was caught with a hard right that stunned him. Riddell, smelling blood, went in for the kill with a barrage of punches and dropping McNorris down for a count. He would survive the count, only to continue to get punished when the referee would stop the fight at 2:02 of the first round.
