Super Bowl XXXV trophy on display at Sports Legends Museum thanks to the Ravens

“It is a unique opportunity for fans to enjoy the trophy and reflect on the Ravens’ past Super Bowl victory, leading up to the team’s second trip to the Super Bowl on Sunday,” said Mike Gibbons, executive director of the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation.”

The Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation recently announced that it will have the Super Bowl XXXV trophy on display at Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards courtesy of the Baltimore Ravens. The public can currently view the trophy during the hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.

“The Ravens have generously allowed us to display the trophy during this time leading up to the Super Bowl,” said Mike Gibbons, executive director of the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation.

Did you know? Super Bowl XXXV in 2000 was the first and only Super Bowl the Ravens franchise has played in since Art Modell renamed and relocated the team to Baltimore. The Ravens defeated the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXXV, 34-7. Ray Lewis was named the Super Bowl MVP.

In addition, Sports Legends will be displaying a Ravens helmet featuring the Super Bowl XLVII logo,” said Mike Gibbons, executive director of the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation.”

The store will also be selling special Brigance Brigade takes New Orleans shirts in support of Baltimore Ravens’ O.J. Brigance’s foundation. O.J. and his wife Chanda will be honored with the 2013 Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation Community Service Award at the annual Babe’s Birthday Bash on Friday, February 8,2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards.
