Super Bowl XLVII prankster asks Harbaugh parents who they favor

Super Bowl XLVII brings sibling rivalry to new heights, as it pits Jim Harbaugh, the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers against John Harbaugh, the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens (Jim is the younger of the two). Things are already escalating, as on Thursday a prank caller managed to get into the national teleconference featuring by parents Jack and Jackie Harbaugh.

"Question from Baltimore: Is it true that both of you like Jim better than John?" a caller asked in a rather serious tone.

Mother Jackie Harbaugh began to answer: "We do not ... "

Fortunately for the Harbaugh parents, before the prankster could make things really bad for them, their daughter, Joani, was also on the call. She is the younger sister of the brothers and she recognized the voice.

"Is that [you] John?" she said. Joani is the wife of Indiana University basketball coach Tom Crean.

Father Jack Harbaugh realized he had been had. He said, "Is that John Harbaugh? Hey, John, mom was ready to come right through this phone. I'm so happy that Joani recognized your voice."

John admitted it was him, pranking his parents, saying "You've got the fighting spirit up. That's the way it should be, alright. That's all I needed to hear. I just needed to know that."

Jack replied "Hey, John, she grabbed my arm and she was reaching for the phone."

Super Bowl XLVII will be played on Feb. 3. Kickoff time is approximately 6:30 p.m. EST.
