Thank God for playoff surprises.
Thanks to players such as the NFL's Ray Lewis and the underdog Baltimore Ravens, the hated New England Patriots were eliminated from postseason play.
Tom Brady, even that little frat boy himself, proved that he too is not invincible.
The same can be said about Bill Belichick.
The true beauty of this NFL upset is the fact it all took place at New England.
Patriots fans likely thought the world was about to end, but it's not.
In fact, far from it.
This year's Super Bowl could not have been predicted, and that's what I love the most about postseason play.
Now, only one question remains as Sunday's Super Bowl scenario pits brother against brother as the San Francisco 49ers battle the Baltimore Ravens in New Orleans.
Can Ray Lewis add one more championship ring to his fingers before retirement, or will the high-powered 49ers offense hoist the title trophy come Sunday evening?
Get ready, America.
Kickoff is just a few days away...
