There have been rumors going around that since Beyonce is performing the Super Bowl Halftime show that she and Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will be reuniting and singing together again. However, according to Fansided, Michelle Williams has shot these rumors down as not true.
The guests performing with Beyonce have not been revealed yet so, truthfully, no one knows what is really going to happen at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show. There is also a bet going on at the Super Bowl that Beyonce will bring her husband, singer Jay-Z on the stage to perform with her.
Michelle Williams said during her interview with WRUG radio that the rumors that the three ladies were reuniting were simply not true. However, those who were hoping for a reunion at the halftime show can still be a little hopeful. Destiny’s Child will be releasing their new album shortly and a new song has already been released. Because of this, it would only make sense for the three ladies to get back together during the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show for a most excellent performance together. The reason why everyone can still be hopeful is because according to Fansided, Super Bowl performers tend to perform new songs and since Beyonce doesn’t have any new songs out lately, it makes you wonder if they will get together to perform their new songs from the new album.
Another reason those who are hopeful should keep a little of their faith still is because there are rumors going around that the playlist was leaked for the performance and some of the songs from Destiny’s Child such as, “Bills, Bills, Bills” “Survivor” and their new song, “Nuclear” are on that list.
Maybe, just maybe, fans of Destiny’s Child will get to see the three together again. We can only hope!
