Super Bowl XLVII contains upcoming movie ads

February 3rd cannot come soon enough for many football hungry fans, yet for some it is not always about the game itself. Many gather around hoping to catch a glimpse at the spendy thirty to sixty seconds companies spend millions on. That is right, the commercials! This Super Bowl will host, like previous years, quite a few upcoming movie ads featuring the latest to be hitting theaters in the coming months.

J.J. Abram’s ‘Star Trek into Darkness’ will have a brief, yet stellar TV spot to enlighten any movie fan excited for the May 17th release. The spot will only be 30-seconds long, yet will be interactive with the new app being released for the film.

‘World War Z’, Brad Pitt’s latest film to hit theaters June 21st, will also be showcased. A brief 30-second spot has been planned to promote Pitts latest film. It will be rather interesting to see what is to be shown from upcoming zombie film.

Disney will be shelling out the most cash on commercials as ‘Oz The Great and Powerful’, ‘The Lone Ranger’, and ‘Iron Man 3’ will each taste the limelight. Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer star in ‘The Lone Ranger’ which will garner a 90-second commercial. Robert Downey Jr. returns as Iron Man in the sequel which will have a hot 60-second spot for viewers. The length for ‘Oz’ is unknown, but one can wonder if it will pack any new scenes!

One final film has been confirmed for showing during the game; ‘Fast and Furious 6’. The May 24th release will have swift 30-seconds to show off the latest installment to the series, which is also likely to be the last installment.
