Before Super Bowl XLVI even kicks off, NBC is airing a pre-game spectacular that is also working simultaneously as a way for the network to promote some of their content.
With this in mind, the network has hired Nick Cannon to serve as a correspondent during some of these promotional interviews, and here is just some of what has been featured:
- Nick talked with a very-pregnant Jessica Simpson about her show "Fashion Star" (premiering later this year), and she also said that she is rooting for the Patriots due to her fiance being from the area.
- Meanwhile, Katharine McPhee showed up to promote "Smash" -- and picked the Giants for the big game.
- Finally, we had a "Top Chef" cameo courtesy of Tom Colicchio, who had a mini-competition to see whether or not Antonia or Richard (from the "All-Stars" season) would win tickets to the big game by cooking a meal on a cracker. Ultimately, Antonia came out on top despite Richard winning the actual show.
