Super Bowl XLVI: Lenny Kravitz performs during pre-game show

Before the Super Bowl even officially kicked off, we had quite an opportunity to see some excitement courtesy of Lenny Kravitz and a number of other musical guests.

Kravitz came out on the and brought a great deal of energy, which has always been a major facet of his performances. This is the first time in months that we have seen Lenny on a big-time TV show -- he performed previously on "The X Factor" this past fall.

Kravitz was introduced during the NBC pre-game show by Nick Cannon, a man who has been incredibly busy as of late when it comes to conducting various interviews with anyone and everyone related to the network.
