If we didn't know if before, we officially know it now: people love the Super Bowl. The Saints - Colts football game now officially holds the title of most-watched television event of all time, as nearly 107 million people tuned in to watch the big game. To put that in perspective, the Cardinals - Steelers game of last season brought in about 99 million viewers. In terms of households, Super Bowl XLIV's 51.7 million beat out the series finale of "M*A*S*H" to stand alone at the top.

For CBS and "Undercover Boss," the news is also good. The reality show, which has drawn both praise and passionate criticism, brought in over 36 million viewers. While the show based around corporate shake-up certainly got a major boost thanks to the football game, "Boss" had better numbers than any episode of "NCIS" or "American Idol" this season.

Are you surprised the numbers are so high for the Super Bowl this year? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more TV news.

Watched undercover boss, have got to say, it is a yawner. Unless something happens to pep it up, it will go south faster than Peyton Manning's sportsmanship.
