The following is a list of the money payouts per player made by the NFL to players on the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos for playing in Super Bowl XLVIII. I'm also listing the total amounts players from each team got for playing in the playoffs.

In addition to the actual amounts listed here, some players can and already have earned additional money from endorsement deals that they can get from the publicity of playing in and winning a Super Bowl. Richard Sherman of the Seahawks starred in commercials for Beats by Dre and CenturyLink after his crazy interview with Erin Andrews following the NFC championship win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Each player on the Seattle Seahawks received $92,000 for playing in and winning Super Bowl XLVIII. The total payout made by the NFL to the Seahawks players was $5.8 million, and that total was split among 63 players, including injured players who might not have actually played in the Super Bowl.

The total payout per player to Seattle Seahawks players for the entire postseason, playoff games plus Super Bowl, was $157,000 each. That included $23,000 per player for the win over the New Orleans Saints in the divisional playoff round, and $42,000 per player for the conference championship win over the San Francisco 49ers.

For making the Super Bowl but losing, each Denver Broncos player got a check for $46,000. The total payout by the NFL to the Broncos players was $2.9 million, and that was split among 64 players.

The total payout per player to Denver Broncos players for the entire postseason, including playoffs and the Super Bowl, was $111,000 each. That included payouts for the Broncos wins over the San Diego Chargers in the divisional playoffs, and the New England Patriots in the conference championship game.
