Super Bowl food and drink specials at Santa Cruz restaurants and bars

There are many restaurants and bars offering Super Bowl Specials this Sunday, February 5. Kickoff is at 3:30pm. Here are some highlights.

  • The Parish Publick House is holding its 4th Annual Hot Wing-eating contest at halftime. There are bound to be drink specials as well. 841 Almar Avenue (at Mission in Safeway complex), Santa Cruz, (831) 421-0507.
  • Canton in Capitola is celebrating the Super Bowl by holding happy hour all day, which means $3 appetizers and $3 drinks. 900 41st Ave, Santa Cruz, (831) 475-8751.
  • El Palomar is offering tailgate-inspired food specials, Absolut and Budweiser drink specials, plus games and prizes. 1336 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, (831) 425-7575. 
  • Bittersweet Bistro: Starting at 3:30pm, it's serving $6 "Recession Crusher" food items and $5 Drink Specials including chicken nachos, chili cheese dogs, beef stroganoff, meatloaf, spicy buffalo chicken tenders, Lange Twins merlot, and the cocktail "San Francisco Hanging On(for next year)" with Hangar 1 Wild Maine blueberry vodka, fresh muddled mint, house-made simple syrup, and soda.
