Computer processing company Intel debuted its new commercial Sunday night during the Super Bowl, and suffice it to say it was both funny and sad at the same time...shockingly sad. As a matter of fact, I don't know if I've ever felt so bad for a robot in my life.
The premise for the commercial is simple: a couple of Intel guys are sitting around talking about how their newest processing system is their greatest invention of all time; unfortunately, they don't realize that one of their robots is standing right next to them with a food tray. The robot looks kind of like Eve from "Wall-E," except with even more expressive eyes.
Hats off to Intel for this ad: even if it makes me feel bad for Jeffrey the robot, they could have a potential mascot on their hands here.
What did you think of the commercial? Check out the video below and feel free to share your thoughts.
