Every year at the Super Bowl we get a few ads courtesy of Doritos, but these are always just a little different than some of the other commercials. Why? Instead of hiring an in-house group to create ideas, they allow for submissions from the people -- two of my reality show friends, Jason Prager of "Beauty and the Geek" and Billy Garcia from "Survivor," actually took part in one. While their ad didn't make it, these two commercials did.
The first is a classic "animal humor" gag involving a dog and a treasured bag of nacho cheese-flavored corn chips. The second has to do with a greedy kid who is also extremely protective of his mother. While Doritos has certainly aired better commercials in the past, these at least were worth a couple of giggles.
Where do you think these two commercials rank when compared to some of the other past greats? Let me know your thoughts below and stay tuned for more coverage.

Wish Jason and Billy had won the contest. Loved their video.
Thanks Juliet if only you worked for Frito-Lay :(
Yeah those commercials were so-so, nothing will compare to Billy killing that little girl...R.I.P. little girl.
FYI her father was on set and insisted on a 50th take lol.
The doritos commercial with the dog was my favorite!!!!!
Yep we should have taken this prize.

I loved the Doritos Dog commercial since to me it sends a message to people who want to use those damn things. You wear the shock collar-- not the dog.
Got something to say?
