It's here, it's finally here! Super Bowl Sunday is upon us! However, if you're not sure of the Super Bowl 2013 start time on Feb. 3, you might be a little anxious. We completely understand, but you can relax; we've got you've covered!
Whether you don't want to miss a second of the NFL champsionship action as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Baltimore Ravens, or you are mostly excited to watch Beyonce rock the halftime show and scan the VIP boxes on TV to try and spot celebrity attendees like Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, you need to know when coverage kicks off.
This year, CBS will host the NFL championship game; game-day coverage begins well before kickoff time. The first special, "Road to the Super Bowl" airs at 9 a.m., right after the weekly CBS staple, "Face the Nation"; the NFL specials continue all morning and into the afternoon. The actual Super Bowl 2013 start time is slated for 4:25 p.m. on Sun., Feb. 3, with kickoff expected fairly close to 4:30 p.m. The halftime show will likely take place sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., and of course the commercials will keep everyone entertained in between the hours and hours of plays.

"The Blind Side" actress Sandra Bullock is among the celebrities expected to attend the biggest game of the year. Sandra Bullock will no doubt be rooting for Baltimore and especially cheering Michael Oher, Ravens lineman and real-life inspiration for the teenage football player Bullock's character in "The Blind Side" took in and cared for. In real-life, Leigh Anne Tuohy took Michael Oher in when he needed a place to call home and a cheering section of his own; the Tuohy's and Oher's story was developed into a book before being adapted for film. Oher was drafted by the NFL as the film was released.
Shortly before the Super Bowl 2013 start time, children from Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., will sing "America The Beautiful" during the " CBS Kickoff Show". After these beautiful children bring us all to teary-eyed messes, as will probably be the case, Alicia Keyes will seal the deal by singing the national anthem. After this sure-to-be-emotional 30-minute intro, the macho, manly football madness will begin and a short few hours later, the Super Bowl XLVII champions will be named!

Watch the Beyonce Inauguration Day performance here; true, she lip-synced, but it's still impressive! (Fear not; Bey promises to sing live on Sunday.)
