Super Bowl 2013 predictions are in full force leading up to the big game Sunday. A number of animals around the nation are making headlines by picking which team they think will win the NFL Championship in New Orleans Feb. 3.
According to a Feb. 2 report on ABC Local, manatees "Hugh" and "Buffett" chose the Baltimore Ravens. The two swam up to a target with the team's logo on it and nudged it. The report went on to say that "Buffett" has accurately predicted the last five winning teams of the Super Bowl. Not a bad record!
Another animal with the same five-to-five record as "Buffett," is an orangutan in Utah named "Elijah." He also picked the Ravens to win the 2013 game.
Huffington Post reports that a New Orelans otter named "Emma" picked the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl 2013. She chose the winner of the NCAA final four in 2012.
In Montana, a grizzly bear picked the Ravens as well as a group of puppies on the "Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon."
Princess, a camel in New Jersey, predicts the Ravens will take home the trophy. She has a 6-1 record (she predicted wrong which team would win the Super Bowl when she picked the Colts over the Saints in 2009).
In other predictions, Gabby -- a sea turtle in Myrtle Beach, S.C -- chose the 49ers as well as an elephant named Jody, and Fred -- a Psychic Bunny.
