Super Bowl 2013 kickoff time: TV, live stream online may attract record viewers

Finally, Super Bowl Sunday is here! After two weeks of stories, team breakdowns, deer antler spray and analyzing everything and anything possible, it's time to actually play the game.

The Super Bowl has come a long way in its 47 year history and has turned into more of an event than a game. Well thanks to modern technology you can catch every play of the big game even if you are on the go.

CBS television is carrying this year's Super Bowl while CBS Sports Sportsline will also have all the action via live stream online. You can also catch all of the action on your Verizon smartphone.

According to gottabemobile.com on Feb. 2, watching the Super Bowl on your iPhone or smartphone is as easy as downloading an app. Verizon users can download the official Super Bowl streaming app for their iPhone, iPad, and other smart phones.

What a great age of technology we live in.

Last season, ESPN reported a record estimated 111.3 million people watched the Giants and Patriots battle in Super Bowl 46. Television experts expect that record may be broken once again.
