Go Daddy’s second released Super Bowl 2013 commercial is getting a lot of attention today, partly because it contains a kiss that some find hard to watch. While Go Daddy’s racy reputation for their Super Bowl ads is something people are looking forward to today, the second ad from the web hosting giant doesn’t fit the bill. According to the Huffington Post on Feb. 2, 2013, the Go Daddy ads have “displayed the ability to get people talking over the years.”
The SB Nation compares the second Go Daddy commercial released to watching an uncomfortable makeout session, like the kind you might see in your high school days. Bar Refaeli is called the sexy side of Go Daddy, which is explained by Danica Patrick in this ad. Refaeli is teamed up with a nerd, who is considered the “smart” side of Go Daddy.

When they put the two halves together it makes a whole apparently. This is demonstrated by a very long wet kiss, complete with what sounds like exaggerated kissing sounds. This commercial is just not up to par with the Go Daddy Super Bowl sexy ads of yesteryear.
The first Go Daddy commercial released for public viewing has a couple flying in a private jet. They hit it big because they were the only couple, out of the many that the commercial shows you, that went with their idea and put it online with Go Daddy’s help.
This is not sexy by any means of the imagination. The first commercial is geared toward getting people to use Go Daddy’s services with no added extra fluff, like the bare skin usually seen from Go Daddy Super Bowl commercials.
Unless Go Daddy has a surprise commercial up their sleeve, the once anticipated Super Bowl commercials from this company are not something that people will talk about on Monday. If they do, it will probably to voice their disappointment.
