On Feb. 3, Super Bowl 2013 commercials were aired during the big game and one of the ads that viewers looked forward to was for "The Walking Dead." The commercial was not as violent as people expected and was actually light-hearted and amusing.
The Super Bowl 2013 commercial featured Dary Dixon (played by Norman Reedus) who was making quite a mess killing zombies. It was quite funny watching a teenage girl feeding a walker in her room while it was chained up and the mother instructing Daryl to clean up the mess he made. No family wants a home covered with zombie blood and guts.
What made "The Walking Dead" ad particularly funny was how soft spoken Daryl Dixon was. It was quite a change from his bad boy character on the show. He was polite and even said "Yes, Ma'am" to the woman.
