On Feb. 4, Budweiser aired their Black Crown ad during the big game. The Super Bowl 2013 commercial had mixed reviews, but it was just plain, simple and nothing special.
The Super Bowl 2013 commercial showed beautiful women at a party who seemed to be having a great time hanging out with the guys. It seemed like a good commercial right up until the end, then it just became awkward.
At the end of the ad, the scene turns from a party scene to a formal dinner party with a host who is giving a toast in honor of Budweiser's Black Crown. All of his guests stand up and cheer. The difference between the two scenes is such a contrast that it is just weird. It was like watching two completely different commercials.
For the millions of dollars that Budweiser spent on the ad spot, they should have been a tad more creative.
