On Feb. 3, the big game was on and people were just as excited about the ads as they were about who would win. While some of the Super Bowl 2013 commercials got rave reviews, there were others that just failed to impress viewers.
Audi was one of the Super Bowl 2013 commercials that seemed like it had no thought put into it. It was titled, "Prom" and it showed teenagers at a school dance. A seemingly normal guy kissed a beautiful girl, when her boyfriend noticed. Of course, her boyfriend ended up giving the boy a black eye.
The next scene showed the boy speeding down the highway, but he was not upset about his black eye at all. He was pretty excited about the kiss and felt he scored a victory. Viewers are assuming the point of the Audi commercial was that driving their car would impress all the ladies.
The Audi commercial seemed to be lacking something and was very generic. It did not stand out and did not appear special in any way. While it was not the worst ad, it certainly was not the best either.
