Super Bowl 2013: A history of national anthem performers

The national anthem has gained more attention leading up to Super Bowl XLVII thanks to Beyonce lip-synching it at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration.

Alicia Keys will take centerfield today at the Mercedez-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana to perform the national anthem for Super Bowl XLVII. Coming off of Beyonce's lip-synching debacle at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, Keys will have quite a bit of pressure when it comes to her performance. Will she lip-synch? Will she pull a Christina Aguilera and forget the words?

The media is blowing the whole ordeal out of proportion and I believe Alicia Keys will deliver an amazing rendition of the national anthem – I do believe she will NOT lip-synch and will instead belt out her performance live.
