Welcome to the modern world. When Super Bowl I took place 46 years ago, television carrying sporting events was just in it's 'infant' stages compared to today. NBC.com will be airing Super Bowl XLVI live online. This is the first time in the history of the Super Bowl that it will be available live streaming via the internet.
Who would have thought this would be even possible just 10 years ago? No TV, no problem. Not going to be close to a television or a computer? You still can catch all the live streaming Super Bowl action on your smart phone.
What a world we live in!
According to NFL.com, you can catch the action of Super Bowl XLVI from just about anywhere!
Do any of you 40+ somethings remember when there was no NFL.com, ESPN, or online events and we just had sports on the local stations that actually only lasted five minutes? Things surely have changed.
"I remember Channel 4 in Detroit only having Al Ackerman in the 1980's doing five minutes or so of sports." Mike S. of Berkley said. "Now sports is 24/7! Personally I love it."
The current odds have the Patriots -3 and the Over/Under number at 53 according to Jim Feist.com.
The game will get underway at 6:27 (approx.) ET.
