There was a major summit meeting between two very big fans of the Beatles on Oct. 29. Though Dara Roberts and Audrey McCombs had communicated with each other before, their first face-to-face meeting took place that day on the Stanford University campus in Dara's dorm.
There was a lot of talk about the Beatles, and especially Paul McCartney. Audrey told the story of how
Paul signed her arm and she got the tattoo. And the two talked about their love of Paul and the Beatles. And in an unplanned coincidence, the two wore identical Paul McCartney shirts.
More pictures from that day are in the slideshow at the bottom of the page.
