Patch 5.2 brings a lot of new content to “World of Warcraft,” and not just on the Isle of Thunder itself. If you're looking for a way to finish up the reputation grind for the Pandaren factions, the answer may be waiting for you back at Sunsong Ranch.
If you are exalted with the Tillers, Nana Mudclaw in Halfhill has a quest for you: "Inherit the Earth." There were rumors in early patch notes that players could buy Sunsong Ranch from Farmer Yoon, but in this quest, he hands it over to you at no charge.
Yoon's home becomes your own personal inn, and a quest-giving notice board appears outside with Work Order quests for each Pandaren faction that you have unlocked. Since the quests require you to plant eight seeds and harvest them, you can only do two per day, and you have to wait until the following day to do the second part of the chain, the one that actually gives you rep.
Planting becomes less tedious because you can now buy bags of seeds. Each bag gives you ten charges of AOE planting that sows four seeds at a time. You get 40 seeds for the price of 30. (Milly Greenfield will trade you a bag for 30 seeds, in case you've been hoarding them.)
Blizzard really listened to people's pet peeves about farming and fixed two of the more annoying aspects. Wild Crops, which require players to spam one or two buttons, will be found less often. Also, those pesky underground Virmen that like to occupy your soil will be stunned and reduced to 30% of their health if you run over them with the Master Plow.
