High pressure will build across the eastern Great Lakes today. It is very cold this morning with temperatures at some locations below -15. However, temperatures will warm quickly today with highs moderating to the low to mid 20s this afternoon.
The fair weather will continue through Thursday as temperatures moderate even further.
A cold front will cross the state on Friday bringing a chance of snow.

Tonight, clear and not as cold with lows around 10. Winds SE 5 mph.
Thursday, partly cloudy with highs around 30. Winds E 5 mph.
Thursday night, increasing clouds with lows around 20.
Friday, cloudy with a chance of snow. Highs will be near 30 degrees.
Looking ahead: Snow showers will continue Friday night and Saturday as another shot of arctic air spreads across the region. Lows Friday night will be 10 to 15 degrees with highs on Saturday near 20.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid 20s.
A potent storm system is forecast to develop and move into the Great Lakes on Monday. Milder air will spread across our area in advance of this system. It will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow. Highs on Monday will climb into the mid to upper 30s.
