Inaugural Moe's Southwest Grill Sunshine Classic - Game 1: Georgetown Hoyas vs. Jacksonville Dolphins
In the first half of the Inaugural Moe's Southwest Grill Sunshine Classic, Georgetown (1-0) downed Jacksonville (0-1) 15-12 in front of 8,152 fans at EverBank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. In most see-saw battles, teams will exchanged a goal apiece here and there. But in this game, the Hoyas and Dolphins exchanged chunks of goals at a time. Georgetown opened quickly, leaping ahead 5-0 within the game's first 10 minutes. Jacksonville then responded with five goals of their own to tie the game at the 11-minute mark in the second quarter. Georgetown ran off four more unanswered, and took a 9-7 lead into halftime. With 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter Jacksonville's Owen Green scored his second goal to make it a one goal game, with the Hoyas leading 12-11. Zach Angel scored his third goal of the game to give Georgetown the 15-12 win.
Jacksonville was led by Bobby Stockton who scored four goals and Cameron Mann with a two-goal, three assist performance. The Dolphins travel next to face Detroit Mercer, the 0-3 independent, Wednesday, February 23 at 4 p.m.
Georgetown was led by Davey Emala, Travis Corneau, and Zach Angel who scored three goals each. Georgetown will visit Byrd Stadium at College Park to face Maryland (1-0), Saturday, February 26 at 3 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

Inaugural Moe's Southwest Grill Sunshine Classic - Game 2: Duke vs. Notre Dame
Game two of the Inaugural Moe’s Southwest Grill Sunshine Classic provided fans with a rematch of last year's championship game, in which Duke (1-1) defeated Notre Dame. This game was much different. Although both teams started the game off with signs of rust, the Fighting Irish dominated the Blue Devils from the start. After both teams went scoreless in the first quarter, Duke lit up the scoreboard to take a 2-0 lead by the 7:30 mark in the second quarter. But Notre Dame went on a four goal run to take a 4-2 halftime lead.
Zach Howell scored with 10:30 left in the third quarter to put the Blue Devils within one, but Notre Dame answered with two goals to give the Irish the 6-3 edge.
The two teams exchanged the next three scores with the Irish taking a 7-5 lead before scoring the next four goals of the game. With 1:35 left in regulation, Duke's Robert Rotanz scored making it 11-7, before Notre Dame's Andrew Irving notched one more for the Irish.
Duke was led by Zach Howell and Justin Turri, who tallied two goals apiece, and Turri added an assist. Duke travels Saturday to face Penn (0-0) at 12 p.m. on Franklin Field.
Notre Dame was led by Zach Brenneman who scored three goals and two assists, and goalkeeper John Kemp finished the game with 10 saves. Notre Dame travels to Penn State (1-0) Sunday to face the Nittany Lions at 1 p.m.
