Sunshine Millions: California Cup and Wine Festival at Santa Anita Park starts at noon on Saturday, January 25th, 2014.
The yearly win festival features over 40 wineries with a variety of wines. You are sure to find many that please your palette. 2013-2014 wines are the best the state has seen since the weather adversely impacted the grape harvests over the last few years.
Santa Anita Park is located in the San Gabriel Valley just off the 210 freeway: Santa Anita Park, 285 W Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91007. With pleasant weather expected, it’s the perfect time to take the afternoon for fun and enjoyment.
General Admission tickets include entrance to Santa Anita Park, Daily Racing Program, 12 smaplings, commemorative acrylic wine glass and food samplings. If that’s not enough upgrade to the VIP ticket that adds club house admission, unlimited sampling, fast track pass so you don’t wait in line, a voucher for one entrée from your choice of the club house restaurants and a Sunshine Millions California Wine Festival T-shirt.
Enjoy the wine samplings from J Vineyards, Steelhead, Smashberry, Cline Cellars, Clos Pegas, Toad Hollow and more! Remember when you find one you really like, you’ll want to purchase a bottle to share with friends and one for your wine cellar.
