Sunshine Heatlh will add about 800 health professionals in South Florida

There is more good news for health professionals in the South Florida. Sunshine Health, a managed care company based in Sunrise will hire about 800 nurses, social workers, and other personnel. They will be involved in providing nursing care, medication management and physical therapy, according to an article by Marcia Heroux Pounds in the February 10 Sun Sentinel.

Healthcare professionals have done very well in recent years. South Florida is home to many older people who need care. Also, the state's population is growing and there are more people who need healthcare. "I think it is good that more jobs are opening for nurses and other people in the healthcare industry. These individuals do a lot of good in the community," said Marianne Bryant.
