Sunshine and cold, more light snow tonight

Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Temperatures remain cold with highs in the lower 20s today as North winds keep the cold locked in. Tonight a weak clipper will bring a fresh one inch or less of snow for most. During the day tomorrow high pressure will settle in by late day bringing any snow showers or flurries to an end by midday. This will allow for clear skies and cold conditions to be with us one more night Sunday night. Monday another system approaches from the West bringing a bit milder air in meaning that precipitation will be in the form of an icy rain/snow mix going to to rain and back to some snow Monday night. After that temperature remain milder but still a bit cool with the chances for some light rain showers by Wednesday afternoon.

Long range:
The air for next week still looks milder but with the pattern we are in and more snow added to the ground temperatures will be a bit more moderated than it was looking last week. Temperatures are still expected to climb to near 50 at times late week but there are chances for rain showers with several weak fronts that will push temperatures back down at times. Flooding still looks likely next weekend with the heaviest rain and mildest air before much colder air returns the following week.
