Sunny with an increase in high clouds late

Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Synopsis,
High pressure moves off to the East today bringing a Southerly flow behind it allowing temps to rise closer to freezing. Light snow/rain showers will accompany a warm front late tomorrow night and early Saturday giving the area a half inch or less of slushy snow, most areas will not see any accumulation. During the day tomorrow temps will rise into the middle 40s ahead of an approaching arctic front. This front will slip through tomorrow night at the same time a strong developing storm system will run moisture up into our region. This precipitation will initially be a snow, sleet, freezing rain mix late Saturday night and early Sunday then precipitation will transition to snow/sleet and eventually all snow Sunday evening and lasting through Monday. This snow could be heavy at times. Depending on the exact track snowfall and ice totals could be very significant. There exist the potential for very heavy icing causing significant power outages especially the farther South you live and then snow in excess of 6 inches on top of ice accumulations. Stay tuned for further details.

Long range:
Colder air will once again filter in behind this storm and dominate most of next week.
