This style was used as an influence for the "farm manors" that were in northwestern France. This is one of five locations that are located in Indian Hill that share a piece of it's history. The other four are the Elliott House, the Jefferson Schoolhouse, the Methodist Church and Washington Heights School.
The house was originally built back in 1932 for a guy by the name of Gordon E. Pape. The house has a cylindrical star-tower that has been topped with a conical roof. The bricks are handmade whitewashed with red-tile roofs that has heavy timbered porches and diamond-leaded windows of typical style for this architectural style. The interior of the home has a spiral staircase, some beamed ceilings and parquet floors.
