Seattle band Sunny Day Real Estate participated in Record Store Day in a big way. They released a split single with Circa Survive that contained their first new song in 14 years. The new track is called “Lipton Witch” and is available to listen to online now.

The band, which started in the '90s, have kept an on-and-off existence with their last album “The Rising Tide” being released in 2000. They soon disbanded, but joined together for a reunion in 2009. So far there have been no further plans for new music. For their part, Circa Survive released "Bad Heart" on the release.

The exclusive record store day vinyl was limited to 2,400 copies on burgundy vinyl, with only 100 copies available on clear vinyl.
