Accordting to TMZ, Sunny Cross was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated Sunday morning. Cross tweeted that TMZ never tried to contact her and that they don't have her phone number. Cross was on the MTV show, Catifish. In the very first episode of "Catfish", Cross was introduced to her internet boyfriend. The boy turned out to be a girl named Chelsea.
5news reported that at 3:39 AM Cross registered .08 blood-alcohol content on a breathalyzer at the detention center according to the report. She was driving on the wrong side of the road and driving too close to another driver as well as driving while intoxicated.
Cross was booked into the Washington County Detention Center at 8:20 AM in Arkansas according to Washington County Sheriff's Office. At 9:39 AM, Cross was released on a $1500 bond. Apparently she had enough time to Tweet at 8:39 AM she tweeted, "Last night was hilarious." Cross has a March 4 court date in Fayetteville District Court.
Since the arrest and various media reports, Sunny Cross has tweeted a few times about the incident, "made a bad choice but learned from it and moving on. First time I've even ever been pulled over for anything. I'm only human."
