High pressure will remain across the area through Sunday. This will keep skies mainly sunny with temperatures gradually warming back into the low 80s by Sunday afternoon.

The high will move to our east Sunday night, and moisture will begin to stream northward across the area. There could be a shower or storm Sunday night, but the best chance will come on Monday with the arrival of a cold front.

Here is the forecast: For today, mostly sunny with highs reaching the upper 70s. Winds W 5 mph.

Tonight, mostly clear with lows around 50. Winds calm.

Sunday, mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. Winds SW 5-10 mph.

Sunday night, partly cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Lows will be around 60.

Monday, partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

Extended Analysis: A cold front will move just to our south Monday night where it will stall. Waves of low pressure will move northeast along the front maintaining the threat of showers and storms across the area Monday night through Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, a secondary cold front will move across the area, with high pressure and more settled conditions to follow.
