Not all the hot fashions are to be found out on the runways, even though some of the looks are to die for and highly coveted but with street style at least you know its something more attainable and maybe, just maybe more affordable too. While the runways were full of high fashion for Spring/Summer 2014 the look out on the street was all about surviving the big city while still looking great.
Color was seen on some fashionistas with a lot of bold fabrics and prints (especially for the men) as well as statement heels but it seems that the biggest trend at fashion week was all black and white. There's just something classic about this non color combo that allows the structure of your pieces to shine through without taking anything away. Many fashionistas also were seen sporting it's all about crop tops, midi skirts, and sporty accents as well as glorious statement pieces that included hats, jewelry and glasses giving those statement shoes a run for their money. All rules aside, Fashion Week street style was all about a chic, mature yet fun and flirty attitude that reflected on the fashionistas clothing showing that Fashion Week really has no rules.
