Jane Margeux is the heroine, and she is a neglected young girl who has an imaginary friend. Her mother is a powerful Broadway producer, and a woman who is always looking for her next husband. Vivian Mareux loves Tiffany's and every Sunday she took her young daughter for ice cream at Tiffany's and diamond shopping for Mom. The great thing about Jane is she had an imaginary friend named Michael who kept her entertained while her Mom entertained gentlemen every Sunday. The relationship between an adult Michael and 9 year old Jane is adorable. On Jane's 9th birthday Michael lets her know that imaginary friends have to leave on every child's 9th birthday and that she will not remember anything about Michael. Jane is devastated and the next day the book fast forwards to her as an adult. An adult working at the same Broadway production house her mother has worked at her entire life. She has her own hit play which is all about her experiences with Michael. The book is a wonderful heartwarming book, and you will enjoy the journey from beginning to end.
