The weekend-long celebration at Tao’s pop-up nightclub at the Sundance Film Festival was a hot spot for celebrities and VIPs last weekend.
On Friday, Jan. 18, the stars came out for the kick-off party at the Sundance Hotspot. Paris Hilton, Danny Masterson, Chris Masterson, Jesse Williams, Mekhi Phiffer, Lil Jon, Jef Holm and Ben Foster from "The Bachelorette", to name a few were in the crowd taking in the music that DJ Vice pumped from his booth.
On Saturday night, DJ Politik was behind the decks and Nas showed up for a special performance, entertaining celebrities and VIPs.
“We usually do Tao in Vegas and Tao in New York. This is Tao Utah. How real is that?” said Lil Jon.
In the crowd: Adrian Grenier, Lil Jon, Danny Masterson and Mamie Gummer, top Hollywood agent Kevin Huvane with starlets Mami Gummer and Gabby Hoffman, Karina Smirnoff, Troian Bellisario, Patrick Adams, Michael B. Jordan, Stephanie Pratt, Ben Lyons, Jason Kennedy, Sal Masekela, Scooter Braun, and Geyer Kosinski.
On Sunday, DJ Jesse Marco, DJ Sinatra and DJ Theory pumped up a crowd that included Lil Jon, Neon Hitch, Paris Hilton, Allison Janney, brothers Danny Masterson and Chris Masterson, Josh Radnor, Joey Lauren Adams, Alexis Knapp, Miles Teller, Jack Huston, Michael B. Jordan, Pauly Shore, Ron Jeremy, Dash Mihok, Francesca Gregorini, Ben Lyons, Matisyahu, Scooter Braun, Tommy Alastra, Jason Weinberg and Chris Henze.
Samantha Ronson kept the party going on Monday, the final night. Karina Smirnoff burned up the dance floor and posed for a photo with the EC Twins who were at the table next to hers. Cedric Gervais hung out in the DJ booth with street artist Alec Monopoly and DJ Politik and Danny Masterson showed up for the fourth night in a row.
Other celebs and VIPs included R&B singers Omarion and Lloyd sipping on Stella Artois and Patron, were spotted together at their table amongst friends sipping on Stella Artois and Patron, Geoff Stults, Neon Hitch, Mekhi Phifer, Tiffany Hines, Cory Hardrict, Kean Cronin, Ben Savage, and Ludo Lefebvre.
Tao’s pop-up nightclub was located in the subterranean parking garage of the Park City Town Lift.
“While most of Park City has last call at 1:45 a.m., Noah Tepperberg and his partners in Las Vegas nightclub Tao discovered three years ago that if they turned a parking garage two levels below ground into a club, they could stay open far later,” stated journalist Marshall Heyman in the Wall Street Journal.
