Skiers headed to Sun Valley Resort in Idaho from San Francisco can take advantage of a new travel promotion this ski season. Ski.com and Sun Valley have partnered to offer savings of up to $200 per ticket on United Airlines flights to Sun Valley that originate or connect through San Francisco International Airport during both directions of travel.

"United Airlines began direct, daily flight service from San Francisco in early December, making it easier than ever for skiers and riders to enjoy the incredible skiing and riding conditions and great service Sun Valley is known for," said Jack Sibbach, director of marketing and public relations at Sun Valley Resort. "This flight credit only sweetens the deal for those seeking a winter getaway and some of the best skiing in the country."

The flight credit requires a minimum stay of three nights at a Sun Valley Resort Lodging owned or managed property. Full details are available by going to Ski.com or by calling Ski.com at 800-672-3213.

Sun Valley Resort includes two separate mountains: Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain. Bald Mountain, or "Baldy," is considered the main area with more challenging terrain. Dollar Mountain caters to beginner and low-intermediate skiers. Sun Valley ranked fourth among resorts in the West in the most recent SKI magazine reader survey.
