Does the twang of a guitar mixed with the sounds of a banjo and harmonica get your feet moving? If so, you’re in luck, the Summergrass Bluegrass Festival is this weekend, August 15, 2014 to August 17, 2014.

You can enjoy live music from several local, regional, national, and international bluegrass bands; win prizes in a raffle; enjoy a variety of food from BBQ to Mexican. Activities begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014, and end at 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2014.

Children age 6 to 16 can participate in a Bluegrass camp for kids where they’ll learn to play several bluegrass instruments. Children will be grouped based on level of experience. On Sunday night at the end of the festival, the children will perform a short concert for all festival attendees.
