The second day of Summerfest, June 26, started out a bit warmer than the first, and even featured some sunshine in the afternoon, but into the evening the fog rolled in and again the fireworks were cancelled. Despite the cancellation of the fireworks there was plenty to do and see on the fest grounds. Lady Gaga was the headliner at the Marcus Amphitheater and at the ground stages performers such as Scotty McCreery and Best Coast put on stellar shows for the huge crowds that amassed. Lady Gaga did not allow anyone to photograph her concert.

Other highlights and standout performances from the second day of Summerfest included Nora Collins, Jule Vera, Caitlyn Smith, Abigail Rose and The Guilty Wanted. As usual the Summerfest grounds were alive with music, food and beverages and thousands of smiling faces. Lady Gaga's fans were certainly the most visible on the Summerfest grounds and they added an interesting and colorful experience to the day.

Nora Collins played two sets at the Tiki Hut. Nora will be down at Summerfest 6 more days and will play 12 more times before the big gig is over. Collins is one of the hardest working musicians at Summerfest. Nora plays June 29 at 3p.m. at the Uline Warehouse Stage and the rest of her performances are scheduled at her website.

One of the outstanding performances of the day came from Jule Vera. They came out on stage unassuming and let loose one of the most impressive sets of the young fest so far. Powerful vocals, ripping guitars, thunderous bass and a side of ukulele. They're a band to be on the lookout for, there's no telling how far these talented musicians will go.

June 27 at Summerfest should be outstanding, and things will kick off with Conniption who open for The Pretty Reckless. Nora Collins will perform two more sets at the Tiki Hut. Vic and Gab, Stars In Stereo and ZZ Ward will all perform and the Marcus Amphitheater headliner will be Brad Paisley with special guest Darius Rucker.
