Summerfest announces headliner lineup, including New Order, Tegan and Sara

Summerfest announced their headliner lineup this morning in a very unique way. The festival posted the 76 headlining acts during rush hour on digital billboards throughout the Milwaukee area. Talk about a traffic jam!!! Performance times, dates, and stages will be announced at a later date. Additional ground stage headliners will be added to the lineup in coming weeks. The festival will run from June 25th through the 29th and July 1st through the 6th.

Advance general admission tickets are on sale now through summerfest.com. Prices range from $9 weekday tickets (before 4 p.m.), $16 single day tickets, and a 3-day pass for $42. Pick n' Save stores in the Milwaukee area are selling 11-day passes through June 1 for $70.

Those who have purchased tickets for headlining acts at the Marcus Amphitheater will have access to the ground stages. Headliners at the Marcus Amphitheater include Bruno Mars with opener Aloe Blacc on June 25th, Lady Gaga with Crayon Pop on June 26th, Brad Paisley with Darius Rucker on June 27th, Outkast with Gary Clark Jr. on June 29th, Dave Matthews Band on July 2nd, The Zac Brown Band on July 3rd, Motley Crue with Alice Cooper on July 4th, and Fall Out Boy with Paramore and New Politics, July 5th. Three main stage headliners have yet to be announced.
