The Boston Harbor Hotel celebrated it's16th annual Summer in the City Entertainment Series on Rowe's Wharf overlooking Boston Harbor.
Each night supports a different theme from Soul Tuesdays, Rat Pack Wednesdays and Blues Thursdays. This past Thursday, August 21, 2014, Boston recording artist, Bruce Marshall performed with his band on the hotel's floating barge stage.
Marshall's career is still going strong after six decades in the music industry where he's received countless awards and nominations. His resume is long and includes sharing the stage with BB King, the Marshall Tucker Band, James Brown, Joe Cocker and the Beach Boys.
Next Thursday, August 28, 2104, the Summer in the City series comes to an end with a final performance by Jeff Pitchell. Pitchell is an internationally acclaimed, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor who reminds many fans of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and BB King. His guitar playing has been described as explosive and his rock/blues music are all original. One of Pitchell's many accolades include a #7 record on the national Billboard charts for 12 weeks.
