Elizabeth Arden PREVAGE joined forces with "E! News’" Catt Sadler to promote its new line. With the help of beauty expert Georgie Eisdell, the team released beauty advice along with summer skincare tips in a video on May 30.
After a brutal winter, now more than ever people are flocking outside in the sun. However, it is imperative to care for the skin and protect it from damaging UV rays. According to the attached video, the environment, pollution and sun exposure, is responsible for 80 percent of “all visible signs of aging.” Additionally, says the Elizabeth Arden beauty expert, “skin regularly exposed to sun and pollution are especially vulnerable to free radicals.” These free radicals are known to cause premature wrinkles, age spots, skin discoloration and fine lines.
Makeup artist Georgie Eisdell suggests changing your seasonal skincare regimen, in this case, summer skincare, as you would adjust your wardrobe. Because of the heat, switch to lighter weight skincare for the summer and of course, don’t forget the sunblock. Other than total sun avoidance, the beauty expert recommends antioxidants, which “work like a screen and help to protect the skin from the environment.” The PREVAGE line contains SPF and Idebenone, a powerful antioxidant that aids in skin protection and a younger looking appearance.
It comes as no surprise that the video from Elizabeth Arden recommends the award-winning PREVAGE line that helps skin to look radiant, reduces lines and wrinkles and minimizes the appearance of age spots. Younger skin is allegedly apparent in 15-minutes. For optimal summer skincare layer the products in accordance with weight: serum and then a moisturizer with sunscreen.
Sadler also asked the beauty expert for a few summer makeup tips. Eisdell’s summer beauty regimen is strictly low maintenance, a “bronzer, a pop of color on the cheeks and tinted lip balm,” which happens to be Catt’s favorite.
