Join the Brewery Ferment team this Friday, May 23rd at 8:00 p.m. for the summer release of 'Sencha' - a lemon green tea ale with local honey and grains of paradise. Summer Sencha is crisp and refreshing with hints of lemon and green tea.
With the Northern Michigan air warming up, this is the perfect ale to sip with friends, listening to music, talking or playing a game. Come on down and enjoy the start of summer at Brewery Ferment.
Summer Sencha has 6% of alcohol in it.
Located at 511 S. Union St. in Traverse City, Brewery Ferment was opened in September 2012 by Traverse City siblings Dustin and Kirsten, and their friend Carly.
“Using local and Michigan ingredients are important to us,” Kirsten said.
This trio plays quite the role at Brewery Ferment – not just a place for one-of-a-kind brews. Dustin is the head brewer, John is the assistant brewer, Kirsten makes merchandise with local hops, and Carly does a podcast called ‘Drink My Brewcast.’ “We consider ourselves a boutique brewery since we are small and very hands on.”
