Snowmass is open for business this summer with their "Summer of Free Music" concert series each Thursday night July 8th through August 13th 2010.
Snowmass is just as beautiful in the summer sun as it is during the ski season so climb the Rockies to enjoy these great bands that Snowmass Village and JAS are bringing to the mountains this summer vacation season in Colorado.
Musical stylings by musicians some who may be familiar and some who may be new to you, but be assured that one of them will be just your style. The music concert series is bringing you everything from reggae to funk to classical jazz.
The concerts will be held at the end of the Snowmass Village Mall on Snowmass Mountain and you are invited to bring your own lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the music. Picnics are allowed in the fenced in area. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the fenced in area but beverages are available.
A dog friendly event, our four legged friends and their owners have a designated area on the hillside above Woodrun V.
Music starts at 6:15 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m.
Please visit the individual websites for the musicians by clicking on their links below for more information.

Great article, thanks!
I love outdoor concerts!
I love free music concerts! We have one here the Molson Concert Series - that's kind of the big one, but we have a lot more. Thanks for sharing.
Great line up!
I love "Amie." What would make that concert even cooler is if Vince Gill happened to show up to sing it! :-)
Me Too Sandy.. but I love the harmonies in the song so he'd have to have them do all the parts with him! :)
Got something to say?
