The summer music series at the BOKX 109 American Prime located in the Hotel Indigo, 399 Grove Street in Newton is underway. The pool and pool deck are open with private cabanas, an outside bar and fire pits ablaze!
Every Tuesday and Friday night there's live music with a rotating roster of talented musicians who bring a variety of sounds from blues, funk, rock and roll and old school disco.
On Tuesday night from 7:00 - 11:00 p.m. the Neil McCarthy Problem Band performs the blues inside the bar area. Then on Friday's there is a rotating roster of bands including Boston's own Brain Maes Band who play rock and roll, The Squabble Band which plays soul and funk, Wood n Wire who play acoustic rock and folk and CommonGround who play rock and blues.
Michael Antunes who you may know from John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, will pop in frequently to join his son Matt Antunes (drums) on stage.

Every Saturday you'll find DJ Chromatix spinning old school dance, house and disco tracks from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
