Summer is a great time to visit Orlando – and not just for theme parks. . Sometimes it’s fun to use a resort itself as a destination and avoid the long, hot theme park lines.

The resort’s “102 Days of Summer Fun’’ is available through Sept. 1 and starting at $139 per night. Guests will receive a $25 resort credit per day and the daily resort service charge waived ($20 value).

The “Dive Into Summer Package’’ is also available through Sept. 1. Guests receive a $100 cuisine & cocktail credit, an Omni Sensational Kids backpack filled with fun items, and a late check-out at 1 p.m.

The “All-in-One” getaway to Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate includes accommodations and an exclusive savings rate of 15 percent for the Florida and Georgia residents.

The Omni Orlando Resort features two Greg Norman-designed golf courses and is also home to the world headquarters of The Leadbetter Golf Academy. The resort also features the Mokara Spa, five restaurants, an adult pool lined with private cabanas, 850-foot lazy river and an extensive water complex for kids.

The Omni's Zen restaurant is one of Orlando's more unique dining experiences. The restaurant features pan-Asian dishes, a sake and sushi bar and Asian-themed privacy screens that create separate dining areas.

Trevi's is a fun Italian-themed restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, beginning with a breakfast buffet.
