Summer Festivals Begin

Welcome to June! Although Summer has not officially begun yet Summer Festival has started here in the Chi. Here are a couple of great festivals going on this weekend.

The Do-Division street festival and sidewalk sale will span Division from Ashland to Leavitt. The event will feature 2 music stages, food, drinks, arts and crafts, retail items for purchase, and plenty of fun activities for the kids. The event will take place on June 5th starting at 10 am. The 4th Annual June Jam will take place tomorrow June 5th from 12-10pm at 3500 N Hoyne in Roscoe Village. The cost is $5 and for that amount you will be able to take in all the entertainment, children's activities, food and drinks that Roscoe Village has to offer. The festival has been extended to 2 days, and will include entertainment by the 16 Candles, Too White Crew and more. For more info visit their Official Website

If you're from the burbs don't be bummed. The Village of Forest Park will be hosting their Summer festival this weekend as well. The festival will include a beer garden. 2 dining areas, live music, a sidewalk sale, pony rides and slide for the kids and so much more! The festival will be a 517 Des Plaines Ave in Forest Park.
