Looking for something new and exciting to do? Once a month, the Great Neck Arts Center becomes the Gold Coast Acoustic Cafe, a music venue that showcases local up-and-coming talent as well as established music acts. With its black box theater performance space and a lounge in the art gallery complete with coffee and refreshments, the Gold Coast Acoustic Cafe is one of the few small music venues around which makes for a special and intimate atmosphere for artists and audience alike.

The Liverpool Shuffle provides a unique and authentic presentation of the most popular song book of all time...not your standard Beatles tribute band. This band entertains with the electricity and intensity that made the Beatles the most sought-after act in the history of live music. They have been delighting audiences of all ages with their fun, high energy performances at concert halls, theaters, arenas and clubs across the country. Their passion is to keep the music of the Beatles alive. And they strive to perform it the way that it was meant to be performed.

  • Long Island Comedy Festival

Thursday, July 17, 8pm (doors open 7:30pm)

For one night only, the Gold Coast Acoustic Cafe will become the hottest comedy club on the North Shore. Now in its ninth year, the annual Long Island Comedy Festival comes for the first time to the Gold Coast Arts Center with a line-up of top comedians, featuring the best comic talent from Long Island, the New York City comedy scene, and around the globe.

Featured comedians will include Paul Anthony, the official comic host of the Long Island Comedy Festival, Randy Levin, who has peformed in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, and Chris Roach, who has appeared on The Michael J. Fox Show and is a national headliner. Plus more special guest comedians to be announced soon.
